What’s left to cook with?

The thought of living without the foods I mentioned above is quite surprising.

I tell them, My Secret Ingredient is Unicorn Farts!

Here at Break A Recipe, we make the impossible possible and that’s what we’re going to o today!

It’s My Mission To Help You Simplify & Organize

Your Grain-Free Lifestyle!

I remember how much I struggled when I was new to the Grain-Free Lifestyle in 2012. I also remember how wonderful it was to have Grain-Free cookies that Christmas. Those cookies made me feel normal.

To help you simplify and organize your Grain—Free Lifestyle, I’d like to give you a copy of my cookbook 7 Simple Grain-Free Recipes.

Inside you’ll find recipes for fast mac’n cheese, pizza, brownies, and chocolate chip cookies that get rave reviews! While the recipes are simple, they give you the feeling that you aren’t missing out. They’re some of my favorite recipes for sharing.

Grain-Free Cheeseburger Sliders

Course Appetizer, Lunch, Snack
Cuisine American, Corn-Free, Dairy Free, Gluten Free, Grain Free, Kid-Friendly, Soy-Free

  • 2.5 lbs Ground Turkey
  • 3 Tablespoons Ranch Seasoning
  • 1/2 Cup Chickpea Flour
  • 2/3 Cup Coconut Milk
  • 1 Cup Grain-Free Bread Crumbs
  • 6 Ounces Dairy-Free Cheddar Cheese

  • In a large mixing bowl, mix all ingredients well. Allow the slider mix to stand for 10 minutes.
  • Preheat your grill to 400℉
  • While the grill preheats, measure out your sliders using a 3 Tablespoon Scoop.
  • Press each scoop into a patty, or if you have a slider press this is time to use it.
  • Grill your burgers for 4-6 minutes. (If you can’t adjust the bottom temp of your grill go with 4 minutes so the burgers will not over cook.)
  • When the sliders are cooked, remove them from the grill and repeat the steps until all sliders are cooked.
  • Adjust the temperature of your grill to 250℉ and the top grill to 400℉. Adjust the height of your grill so that the top plate hovers over the sliders.
  • Return the sliders to the grill and top with cheese, I use my spreadable Dairy-Free Cheddar Cheese.
  • Cook an additional 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
  • Remove your sliders from the grill and top with Grain-Free bread. I like to use my Canape Bread, so they look all fancy!

You can certainly prepare this recipe using ground beef if you prefer.
Adjust the height of your grill.  This will keep the cheese from sticking to the grill.
These sliders are best when served hot off the grill.
If you cannot adjust the temperature of grill plates independently, grill the sliders for 4 minutes so they will not be over done when the cheese melts.

What Other Kinds Of Grain-Free Food Can You Make?

I’m so glad you asked! The possibilities are endless when you Break A Recipe!

Here’s a list of a few Grain-Free recipes you’ll find here on the blog.

A Slice Of The Grain-Free Lifestyle

Some people eat roasts or Turkey Dinner on Christmas Day, but I wanted something different this year!

I planned to have a cheeseburger club…but it was huge and I was full before I finished it. On the other hand, cheeseburger sliders fit nicely in my hand and I can have 2 or 3 before I’m full. Somehow this makes me feel as though I’m indulging even though I’m actually eating less than I would if I were eating a cheeseburger club!

I assure you these little sliders were a feast fit for a king! We toasted the bread on our griddle, melted the cheese perfectly. A friend came by for a visit and she couldn’t believe they were made without grains or dairy. “These taste real! They don’t taste Gluten-Free!”

Is There A Recipe For The Dairy-Free Cheddar?

I’m so glad you asked! My recipe for dairy-free cheddar cheese is part of my exclusive VIP Recipe Collection! You’ll find the recipe for my waffles, stuffing, pourable mozzarella, and more! Use the button below to unlock the VIP Recipe Box!

Why Do You Make Your Own Cheese?

Great question. I used to buy my cheese, but I never felt right after eating it. No matter which brand I purchased something was off. I’d get bloating from one brand, digestive discomfort from another variety, still others gave me brain fog. As I learned and researched, I was astounded to find out how many hidden grains are in Dairy-Free cheese! To avoid the nasty side effects of store bought Grain-Free cheese, I make my own. Not only is it much more affordable but it melts better!

I make them! It helps me save a few pennies by using the ends of my Grain-Free bread in my recipes. Just a few seconds in the food processor and boom bread crumbs!

What Kind Of Grain-Free Bread Do You Use?

I use my Grain-Free Canapé bread. I bake it in bread tubes or molds. Once it cools, you slice it like regular bread. The result is beautifully shaped bread that’s just perfect for these cheeseburger sliders!
