This was my life before I started Breaking Recipes.
I would visit someone, and they’d have cookies or another baked good, an all I got to do was smell the rich flavorful aroma…and watch others eat.
Having gluten-free cookies ready whenever I wanted… would be a dream.

Last year during the holidays, my aunt and I worked to make it a reality. Since then I’ve been able to have freshly baked cookies whenever I want…without much work at all!

Do you have to use grain free cookies?
I do because of my allergies! You can use this technique with just about any cookie. Pressed, dropped, sliced, but not bars.
You use grain free flour when you cook. What’s it made of?
I blend my flour from chickpea flour, coconut flour, tapioca flour. Click here to get the easy recipe. You blend it in 5 minutes and then you bake like normal!
How long can you freeze your cookie dough for?
Up to 3 months. To make sure the dough stays fresh, use cardboard freezer safe containers and wax paper layers in between. You can enclose the containers in ziplock bags for extra freshness.
How long do you defrost the cookies for before baking?
If you’re defrosting in the fridge, a couple of hours should be enough. If you’re defrosting on the counter, take them out before dinner, and bake 30 minutes to an hour later.
