How do you make recipes that taste real but without using traditional ingredients? Easy, my secret ingredient is Unicorn Farts! Okay, not really, but that’s what I tell people when they ask what I eat. The secret is this flour!
It’s designed to act like white flour. How did I do it? Well in white flour, there are three main components: starch, protein, and fiber. So I found flours that are heavy in starch, protein, and fiber, and blended them together. A little chickpea flour, coconut flour, and tapioca flour, and it’s pretty darn close to the original!!
Once I found the flours that were readily available in most grocery stores it was time to try some ratios.
All the recipes here on our site use this one flour blend. We use it so often, we blend 5 pounds at a time. (2lbs tapioca, 2lbs chickpea, 1lb coconut)

Grain Free Flour Blend
- Mixing bowl
- Container for storing extra flour
- 2 cups tapioca flour
- 2 cups chickpea flour
- 1 cup coconut flour
- Add tapioca flour, chickpea flour, and coconut flour to a mixing bowl. Using a large spoon, stir ingredients until well mixed.
